This is a simple and quick Prawns roast/fry preparation. It goes well with rice. The unique blend of spices makes prawns roast delicious. Do try it at home and enjoy
Ingredients for grinding
1 piece ginger
1 ½ tsp chilli powder
1 ½ tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp pepper powder
½ tbsp salt
¼ cup water
½ kg prawns
Few curry leaves
¼ cup coconut oil
3 green chillies
Clean and wash the prawns . Keep aside.
Grind shallot, chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger, pepper powder and salt with ¼ cup of water.
In a pan add 2 tbsp oil and add prawns and the masala paste. Add one cup water to this and mix well.
Cook the prawns till all the water is evapourated and all the prawns coated with masala.
To this add 3 tbsp coconut oil and one sprig curry leaves and roast in low flame.
Roast till the prawns get dark red in colour.
Remove from fire and garnish with the slited green chillies and with few more curry leaves
