It is a popular north Indian or Punjabi side dish recipe which can be served as side dish or as a evening snack with a cup of tea.
250 gram Lady’s Finger
1 tsp Chilli powder
¼ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Chaat masala
½ tsp salt
Oil for frying
2 tbsp Besan
1 tbsp Rice flour
1 tsp Ajwain
Wash and wipe the lady’s finger .
Cut off the ends and split it in half. Remove the seeds and cut into thin slices,
Transfer it to a bowl and add chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala , ajwain and salt.
Mix well making sure spices are well coated
Now add besan and rice flour and mix well coating the flour uniformly.
Deep fry in hot oil stirring occasionally on a medium flame.
Fry till the lady’s finger turns crisp and golden.
Drain off over kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
Finally enjoy crispy fried lady’s finger with a cup of tea.
