Teddy Bear Bread

Teddy Bear Bread is a yeast bread shaped like a bear. Enjoy bread making fun with this adorable Teddy Bear Bread.


3 cup all purpose flour

1 ¼ cup warm milk

2 ½ tsp instant  yeast

2 tbsp sugar

½ tsp salt

1 tbsp butter

4 tbsp milk for  brushing


In a bowl add the sugar and yeast. Add ¼ cup milk and stir well.

Put the flour and salt in a medium bowl and stir well.

Add the yeast mixture to the bowl with the flour and stir to combine all the ingredients.

Add the warm milk little by little and knead the dough to form a ball.

Add one tablespoon butter and knead again.

Place the smooth bread dough in an oiled bowl and cover it with a lid or with a plastic wrap.

Leave it for one hour and let the dough rise.

After one hour punch the down and release the air pockets that have developed.

Shape the dough as a ball by  rolling it gently.

Divide the dough into 9 balls as shown in the picture,

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the balls accordingly to make bear shape.

Keep raisins for the eyes , nose and for belly button. Do a milk wash  and leave it for 20 minutes to  rise.

Bake the bread  at 400 degree F for 20 minutes .

Cool the bread for 15 minutes on a cooling rack.

Your Teddy Bear Bread is ready now.
