Arrow root pudding is a delicious dish which is enjoyed by the people of every age group. Arrow root powder is excellent ingredient for bringing down the body heat. Arrow root powder is gluten free, a power house of vitamin B and supports healthy digestion.
1 tbsp Arrow root powder
1 cup Milk
2 tbsp Sugar
¼ cup Water
¼ tsp Cardamom powder
Few glace cherries
Method
Add ¼ cup of water to arrow root powder. Keep aside for 10 minutes. Then add the milk, cardamom powder and sugar to it. Stir till the sugar is almost dissolved.
Grease a serving glass or katori with ghee.
Transfer the mixture into a saucepan and cook it over a medium-low heat stirring continuously. Cook until the mixture looks slightly translucent and begins to bubble.
Pour the mixture into the greased glass or katori. Once the mixture has been poured quickly tap the glass or katori a few times to spread the mixture evenly. Cool completely and then cover the glass with cling wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours or until the pudding is firm.
Transfer this to a serving plate and decorate with glace cherries
