Christmas is the time for baking whether it is bread, cookies or other goodies. So today is the turn for the eggless banana bread. This eggless banana bread is easy to make recipe with simple ingredients and also delicious, moist and soft bread with full of flavour. The perfect treat for breakfast or as snack or dessert.
3 ripe Bananas
¾ cup Sugar
½ cup Oil or Butter
¾ cup Maida or All purpose flour
¾ cup Wheat flour or Atta
1tsp Vanilla extract
1tsp Baking powder
½ tsp Baking soda
1/4tsp Cinnamon powder
½ cup chopped Walnuts
A pinch of salt
Sieve maida, wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt.
Cut the ripped bananas into pieces. Add sugar and mash the banana. Then add oil or butter and vanilla extract . Mix well.
Blend and combine all the dry ingredients with the banana puree.
Add walnut and fold gemtly. Transfer the batter into the cake mould and pat the tray twice to remove the air incorporated into the batter,
Place the tray into preheated oven. Bake it at 180 degree Celsius for 40 minutes or in a preheated pressure cooker for 50 minutes. (Remove whistle and rubber from the lid)
Inset a tooth pick and if it comes out clean then your bread is done.
Serve the banana bread with hot cup of tea or coffee
