Summer is here and so is the season for Mango….Mango picking season in Kerala runs from late march till June. One can make endless dishes using raw or ripe mangoes. Today I am posting an easy raw mango chamanthi which goes well with rice. It takes about 10 minutes to make this.
1 green mango peeled and cut into small pieces
6 whole red chilli
1 small piece ginger
Few curry leaves
Salt as required
1tsp coconut oil
Dry roast the red chillies for a minute. Coarsely grind the chilli.
Add mango pieces , ginger, shallots , curry leaves and salt to this and grind it without adding water
Garnish it with one teaspoon coconut oil.
This chamanthi goes well with rice.
