Christmas is around the corner and everybody likes in baking cookies. Yay, finally I baked my simple Christmas cookies. These cookies are delicious with a slightly crispy outside and soft inside and eggless.
3/4 cup sugar
12 tablespoon butter
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
A pinch of salt
In a large bowl sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
In an another bowl add butter and sugar and cream together until smooth.
Add vanilla essence and milk and mix well. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix well
Wrap the dough in a plastic sheet and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200 degree c. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
Roll out the dough in between two sheets of parchment paper to 1/4 inches thickness
Use a cookie cutter to cut the dough into your desired shapes
Then transfer them to the prepared cookie sheet spacing 1-inch apart
Bake for 7-8 minutes. let it cool for 2-3 minutes and transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. decorate as desired. I used sprinkles to decorate the cookies
