Vegetable Lolipop




chopped potatoes – 1 cup
chopped french beans -1/2 cup
grated carrots -1/2 cup 
finely chopped onions – 1/2cup
chilli powder
turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
Maida – 3tbsp
bread crumbs for rolling
oil for deep-frying

Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and sauté for 1 minute.
Add all the potatoes, french beans, carrots and mix well.
Cover and cook on a slow flame till the vegetables are cooked, 
Add the salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and mash the mixture.
Remove from the flame, transfer the mixture to a plate and allow it to cool 
Make small balls of gooseberry size
Mix the 3 tablespoons all purpose flour and water to make a thin batter. 
Dip each ball in the prepared flour batter and roll in the bread crumbs till they are evenly coated 
Heat the oil and deep-fry each ball till it turns golden brown 
Insert a toothpick in each ball and Serve with tomato ketchup.
